Human trafficking has become an international focus at the intersection of terrorism and security issues. It is the second largest criminal enterprise in the world with millions of people throughout the world in sexual exploitation, labor exploitation, forced marriage and other forms of modern slavery.  The Interparliamentary Task Force on Human Trafficking, founded by Anne Basham, is a subcommittee of the larger Parliamentary Intelligence Security Forum (PISF). It was formed in 2021 at their Forum in Budapest, Hungary. It is a consortium of Parliamentarians, lived-experience experts, government leaders and policy experts. It is the first consortium of this kind to convene Parliamentarians, government leaders, and lived-experience experts who are committed to creating policy solutions to stop one of the greatest humanitarian crises in the world today, human trafficking.

The Task Force engages 41 leaders and 28 countries in globally eradicating human trafficking and exploitation.

They have initiated the first Orphanage Trafficking Working Group, advocated for marginalized people-groups such as the Uyghurs, and led strides in policy change all over the world.

The Foundation United has the opportunity to collaborate with this incredible group to bring systemic and scalable solutions to top leaders around the globe!
